Our mission is to share the beauty, history and fun of traditional German band music with the people of all ages by performing at concerts, festivals and other events. Our vision is to be recognized as one of the top bands performing traditional German music in North America.The band was organized in 1985. Since then, we have regularly performed at city park concerts, senior citizen residences, and private events. In recent years we have performed at Germanic festivals in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, South Dakota, and at the German American Mardi Gras Association annual meeting in Las Vegas, Nevada. We do about 20 concerts a year.
In 2016 we recorded our seventh CD, "Tanz Mit Mir". Our sixth CD, "Live From Amana", was released in 2013 and was recorded live during our performances at the 2012 Amana Colonies Oktoberfest in Amana, Iowa.

The Band is comprised of vocalists, flutes, clarinets, trumpets, tenor horns, baritones, flugelhorns, trombones, tubas and percussion.
